OUR OFFICE, AS WELL AS THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY, RECOMMENDS THAT YOUR CHILD VISITS THE DENTIST BY HIS/HER 1ST BIRTHDAY.
Thank you for this opportunity to introduce you to our office and our philosophy. Although this is a dental office, our goal is to make you and your child feel like this is their dental home. To better prepare for the first visit, it is important that you know what to expect when you arrive for your child’s dental appointment:
WE MAKE THE EXPERIENCE FUN FOR YOUR CHILD…
The first visit at the dentist’s office is an adventure for young children. They will discover many things about their teeth and themselves. Some children will come in excited and some will feel apprehensive. By choosing a Pediatric Dentist, you are taking an important first step in creating a positive dental attitude for your child. With specialty training and a fun environment, Dr. “Z” hopes to give your child a good dental experience, starting at a very young age. We have books, toys, games and a dental office designed to put children at ease.
WE WORK HARD TO ALLEVIATE PARENTS’ APPREHENSION AS WELL…
To ensure that you have all the information you need, we promise to answer all your questions and speak candidly with you about your child’s symptoms, treatments and our recommendations. Working together, we can keep your child’s smile beautiful and healthy, with quality care that fits into your budget. Dr. “Z” knows that each parent will have different levels of concern and experience with dental care for their child (especially first-time parents), so he takes the time to explain all treatment recommendations with the necessary explanation and detail.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO STAY WITH YOUR CHILD THROUGHOUT THE VISIT…
For the first visit, we invite you to stay with your child during the initial examination. For future appointments, we recommend that you allow your child to accompany our staff through the dental experience. We will be able to establish a closer rapport with your child when you are not present. Our purpose is to gain your child’s confidence and trust, and to overcome their apprehension. However, if you choose to, you may come with your child to the treatment room. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.
WE HAVE SEVERAL FINANCIAL OPTIONS FOR PAYMENT…
We are in-network with several PPO insurance plans, and are able to accept almost all forms of traditional insurance. In addition to filing insurance forms for you, we gladly accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover. We are also pleased to offer CareCredit® patient financing, which provides low interest financing on your dental expenses. Our staff will be happy to assist you with any questions you have.
YOU CAN HELP MAKE THE FIRST VISIT EVEN BETTER…
As a parent, you can make the first visit to the dentist enjoyable and positive. Your child should be informed of the visit and told that the dentist and their staff will explain all procedures and answer any questions. It is best if you refrain from using words around your child that might cause unnecessary fear, such as “needle”, “shot”, “pull”, “drill” or “hurt”. Our office makes a practice of using words that convey the same message, but are pleasant and non-frightening to the child.
Before the first visit, be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your child’s dental treatment. You may get a head start on this process by downloading the new patient forms from this website to fill them out before you come.

Testimonials
Dr Z and his staff were amazing. From the moment you walk into the office until the moment you leave, Dr Z and his staff make you and your child feel so welcomed and taken care of. My 2 year old and 4 year old daughters are terrified of the dentist, but the first time we walked into A to Z, Dr Z made them feel so comfortable that my oldest walked straight to the back to sit in the chair. The question I get every morning from my daughter’s is, “Daddy can we go back to Dr. Z’s office today”!!! I w… Read more
We went this afternoon and it was the girls first visit to the dentist. Neither of them shed a single tear or even seemed uncomfortable (they’re 3.5 and 2). He really goes out of his way to make them feel safe and at ease. It’s a new office and has tablets with all sorts of games attached to the wall in the waiting room for the kids to play with as well as movies playing and even movies on the ceiling over the exam chairs! He also gives out little prizes after their cleaning and gave us coupons … Read more
Dr. Z is flat-out great with kids. He has them laughing and sitting still when they should be scared. Most dentist offices are traumatic for kids. They’d rather be somewhere else but Dr. Z lightens the mood with a few jokes and by engaging with the kids and parents. It’s a great overall experience and I’ll continue to bring my two sons and tell others about it.
I absolutely love this place the staff is great!
My son just turned 1 year old and I brought him to the dentist for his first dental appointment…Dr. Hassan is SO great! He’s wonderful with children. My son will definitely continue to see him!
Dr. Z! Thank you for the excellent experience! I can only wish that my childhood experiences could’ve started as well as those of our son. You know you’re in the right place when your child actually asks when he is going to see his dentist again! The warmth and professionalism of Dr. Z and his staff has made what we thought would be a difficult decision an easy one. We’re very thankful to you for all you do. Thanks again!
Outstanding experience from Dr. Z and his staff. Going to the dentist for a young child can be scary but Dr. Z and his staff went above and beyond for my 5 year old. She left her visit feeling happy and can’t wait for her next check up.
Dr. Z and his assistant, Lucy, were amazing with my 2.5 year old son. They introduced each of the instruments they were going to use. Dr. Z made Matty feel comfortable right away by giving him high fives, fist bumps, and shooting his “water gun” instrument. They made sure to incentive him with prizes and stickers. There was also a TV he could watch while laying down but he was so engaged with Dr. Z he didn’t even notice it. Also gave us great tips on oral hygiene, brushing and flossing technique… Read more
A to Z was such a wonderful experience. I took my 7 yr old son a couple of months ago and he loved it. Not only the iPads mounted on the wall, or the great incentives that he got for being good, but he loved Dr. Z and the staff! He is honestly excited for his 6 month check up and can not wait to return. I will definitely continue to recommend them to all my family and freinds!
Highly recommend. Great experience for the kids. Took my 5, 2.5 and 1.5 year old boys to AtoZ last summer. It was my first time taking them all together, and my 1.5 yo’s first time at the dentist. Thankfully it was a breeze. From the moment you walk in, the staff helps with the kids. The kids themselves went straight to the nicely mounted ipads on the wall. It was actually a mini break for me as I got to enjoy some coffee peacefully. Dr. Z came and developed immediate rapport with my kids in t… Read more
